Since three years the famous director, DOP and producer Hubert Schönegger is working with his production company geosfilm on the project "floodplains of South Tyrol" for the association "Eisvogel". Now the completion is near, and planned for autumn 2012.

Geosfilm has visited the original locations of the Italo-Western: This is the basis for the documentary which shows the origin and the developement of the Italo-Western. Hubert Schönegger was there with his assistant Alexander Zeidler. Now the first part of “Denn sie kennen kein Erbarmen” (en: because they don’t know mercy) ready and was already on air on the broadcasters ARD and ARTE.

Pierre Brice is “Winnetou”, “Winnetou” is Pierre Brice. No other actor is beeing that much identified with his role like the french born actor Pierre Brice. Even nowadays, decades after the premiere of “Winnetou I” Pierre Brice is still very popular.
